Safety

Call 911 in the United States, Canada and Mexico, or 112 in the European Union, Switzerland and the United Kingdom (the UK also answers 999). The app shows the number for your region and never dials by itself.

Ozevo is not an emergency service. In-app reports are not watched around the clock, so do not use them when someone needs help now.

• Meet at the court, in public. Make your own way there.
• Tell someone where and when. In the app, "Share my plan" sends a message with the place, the time, a map link and the game link. It never sends your live location or other players' names.
• Trust your gut: you can leave any time.
• Check light, weather and surface. Bring water.
• Report or block anyone who makes you uneasy.

We cannot verify who people are. Nothing in the app means that a person or a place is "safe" or "verified".

The app adds a quiet note to a game that runs after sunset or before sunrise: the time of sunset (or sunrise) and whether lights are listed for the place. "No lights listed" means we do not have the data; the place may still be lit.

• Pick lit, busy courts when you can.
• Arrive and leave with others.
• Bring a light and a reflective layer for routes and trails.
• Check the surface for wet leaves and hidden hazards.
• Parks and courts may close in the evening, and public lights often run on timers. Check posted hours.

• A game: open it, scroll to the bottom and tap "Report this game".
• A player: tap "Report this player" on the game page, or "Something wrong?" after a game, where you can also stop being matched with them.
• Anything else: write to support@getozevo.com.

Only our team sees reports. We can remove content and suspend accounts. See the Community Guidelines.

Ozevo is for people 18 and older. If you think an account belongs to someone under 18, report it from their profile or email us, and we will look at it quickly.
